There are many we can talk about when it comes to Tibetan food, including momo which has gained world-wide popularity. But the most common ones are butter tea, tsampa (barley) and meat. Tibet being roof of the world is one of the reasons why Tibetans consume a lot of meat. On account of harsh weather condition, there is no room for vegetation which ultimately leaves Tibetans with no option other than to consume meat.

Nevertheless, momo is what people remember Tibet and Tibetans by. It has gained world-wide popularity. And we have been able to conduct exhibitions in foreign countries which included Tibetan foods as well. People love Tibetan food especially momo.
